Springfield Vermont in Mid-Winter

It's a chilly but pretty time of year in Springfield, Vermont.

Springfield, Vermont- City of Lights, Official Home of the Simpsons, and Jewel of the Upper Valley

Visible from outer space, Springfield, Vermont, is a City of Lights, a veritable Garden of Delights, and it has the honor of having been voted "Official Home of the Simpsons"! What more can a town ask for? Potholes and broken pavements you ask? Heck, we have more than One Thousand And One Potholes, spread all along whole stretches of the public byways (which, potholes aside, in the Winter become more like random staircases then level roadways in places, reminding one of the hillside towns of the Cinque Terra).
Yes, inexplicably, a fresh filling will indeed be witnessed now and then, but this is likely done mostly for effect and contrast, and to remind us of how interesting it is to patch patches, however patchily.
And Truth be told, Springfield's Other Finest, the Public Works Department, can be seen zipping right along in good weather, repaving the worst stretches with alacrity and finesse, (in time for Winter to have yet more fun with cars).

Pero hay que ver, que durante este Verano se han hecho maravillas reparando el calcado municipal.
