Springfield Vermont's Black River after Irene

Springfield Vermont's Black River after Irene is a force to be contended with.

This is just video of the flood waters rushing past the Fellows Gear Shaper building on River Street in Springfield Vermont, with some brief shots of the remains of an old friend, the bridge that was recently replaced there. The water stayed high for a very long time, in fact it seemed higher the day after this was filmed.

Springfield Vermont bids farewell to Irene.

A quiet five minutes, rivers rushing brown and frothy but otherwise no Irene chaos except where the tail wags, just river views and a baby Snapping Turtle - una tortuga perdida, vistas de los rios locales, pero poco se nota que ha pasado un hurracan.
