In the first few days of April, Springfield Vermont was showered with golden rays on some days, with icy hail on others - this morning we awoke to a dusting of crusty snow crystals all huddled where they were able to hide in shady spots protected from solar radiation, which minded not the clouds, filling the air with the teeny staccato of tiny rivulets of melt runoff dancing from surface to texture to surface again.
